Seems like it will finally take place.
However, I still believe that this might actually by a disservice to the Java idea of "run everywhere".
Remember what happened on the desktop (J2SE) when Microsoft had their own "enhancements" to the VM?
I'm afraid this might happen again.
IBM, though, will probably love it...
